About Ben
I’m a lifelong musician with a background in performance, composition, and music production. Alongside facilitating soundbaths, I compose meditation music and ambient soundscapes.
My work focuses on creating immersive sound experiences that support relaxation and nervous system regulation. Rather than approaching soundbaths as symbolic or ritualistic practices, I create live ambient soundscapes using instruments such as crystal singing bowls, Tibetan bowls, gongs, and a crystal harp, layering and shaping sound through tone, harmony, rhythm, and flow.

Musical Background & Approach
I’ve been immersed in music since early childhood, beginning with the drums at the age of four and later studying a wide range of instruments including piano, guitar, bass, percussion, and strings. I hold a degree in Music Production, which informs my understanding of frequency, acoustics, and how layered sound influences the listening experience.
My interest in soundbaths grew through exploring how sustained, resonant sound influences relaxation and the nervous system. Research into meditation and relaxation shows that immersive sound environments can support shifts away from high-alert mental states toward calmer, more regulated states of awareness.
Zen with Ben soundbaths are designed around science-based relaxation, using sound and vibration as a gentle, non-invasive way to support rest, nervous system regulation, and mental quiet. Rather than relying on belief-based or mystical frameworks, each session is carefully shaped through musical structure, pacing, and tone to create a deeply settling experience.
